Administrateur: Roody Rasmussen

Mark (Roody) Rasmussen has been the President and CEO of Petzl America in Clearfield, Utah, since 1999. 
 
Roody began his career with Petzl as a sales representative in 1988 introducing Petzl products to the Western US and Canada. Over the years, Roody has served on the board of directors of several outdoor industry professional organizations. He was a board member of the Outdoor Industry Association for seven years, and currently serves as vice-chair for the Ogden Valley Pathways and is a member of the Governor’s Outdoor Recreation Task Force for Utah. A 34-year outdoor industry professional, Roody’s experience prior to his work with Petzl includes being the Operations Director for the Jefferson Community Action Council and running his own small publishing company introducing the alpine artwork of Samivel to North America. Roody spent twelve years as a professional ski patrolman at Snowbird, Utah during which time he worked one year at Les Grandes Montets in Argentiere – Chamonix, France on an exchange program.
 
Roody is an avid lover of the out of doors, is a passionate backcountry skier, and is active in environmental and conservation projects. Roody lives in Eden, Utah with his wife Marsha where they have a small organic garlic farm which they operate with their son Pete. Their daughter Elisabeth attends the University of Utah.
